EGSA Announces 2012 Board of Directors and Officers

BOCA RATON, FL — The Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) has announced the election of officers and three new Board members for 2012.

“The Association’s organizational structure guarantees that our Board provides direction and support of the Association’s vision, mission and goals,” says Jalane Kellough, EGSA Executive Director. “We wish to congratulate and welcome those newly elected to the Board and thank them for taking an active role in the Association, as well as thank those who have actively led and directed our Association during the 2011 calendar year.”

The new EGSA officers are:

  • President — Michael Pope, Süd-Chemie, Inc., Needham, MA
  • President-Elect — Debra Laurents, Cummins Power Generation, Minneapolis, MN
  • Vice President — Vaughn Beasley, Ring Power Corporation, St. Augustine, FL
  • Secretary-Treasurer — Edward Murphy, Power Search, Inc., Hampstead, NH
  • Immediate Past President —  John Kelly, Jr., Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc., Owings, MD

Also elected to the Board of Directors were: Steve Evans, DIEF, Inc., Fort Collins, CO, Todd Lathrop, Eaton Corporation, Moon Township, PA and Kyle Tingle, John Deere, Waterloo, IA.

They will join the following directors who remain on the Board through the coming year: Brad Fennell, Chillicothe Metal, Chillicothe, IL; Ronald Schroeder, ASCO Power Technologies, Florham Park, NJ; Mark Steele, Technology Research Corp., Clearwater, FL; Robert Hafich, Emergency Systems Service, Co., Quakertown, PA, Larry Perez, Basler Electric Co., Highland, IL, and  Brian Berg, Bergari Solutions, LLC, Rosemount, MN.

 The new Board Members will assume their offices on January 1, 2012.
