Technician - Industrial Generators
Virginia/West Virginia-based company seeks technicians in the industrial diesel and electric power field. We are ALWAYS HIRING!
About the Company:
Bay Power Solutions celebrates 40 years of providing Sales, Service, & Parts for Industrial Power & Marine Needs. We have offices in Chesapeake, Richmond, and Roanoke, as well as West Va, serving hospitals, educational facilities, military, and more. In our Power Gen Division, we sell/service industrial standby, prime, mobile, demand-response, and microgrid generators, with the future of power opening doors to solar microgrids, wind power support, and more.
Responsibilities Include:
• Equipment diagnosis of generator problems and/or failures to identify replacement needs
• Perform routine maintenance as needed
• Service, repair and troubleshoot engine, alternator end and controls of the equipment
• Prepare paperwork for the purpose of requesting parts needed to repair generator systems
• Generator start-ups for new equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
