EGSA focuses specifically on "onsite electric power generation," which can be defined as:
Any method of producing power that will be used on or near the site at which it is generated. This includes demand response, prime power, and many others. It even encompasses alternative power sources such as wind, solar, and fuel cells.
EGSA members are encouraged to get involved by participating on one or more committees. You can review our current committees on the Committees page.
To join a committee, your organization must be an active EGSA member.
Most committees meet in person twice a year during EGSA's annual conferences and also hold virtual meetings throughout the year as needed.
There are many ways to get involved with EGSA, and we're here to help you make the most of your membership. Whether you're interested in networking, education, volunteering on a committee, or attending events, there's something for everyone.
Visit our Get Involved page to explore the many ways you can connect with the EGSA community and take full advantage of your member benefits.
Powerline magazine is available digitally for everyone to read online. Print editions are published twice a year and distributed at EGSA conferences.
You can view the latest issue and archived editions by visiting the Powerline page.
Yes! We are always looking for new content for Powerline and encourage EGSA member organizations to share their expertise with the industry.
Articles should be technical in nature and provide educational value to EGSA members and Powerline readers.
Please note that submissions are accepted only from current EGSA member organizations. Powerline is a fully digital publication, allowing content to reach a broad audience across the onsite power industry. While we welcome all submissions, publication cannot be guaranteed.
To be considered, please submit an abstract or completed article to info@egsa.org.
