EGSA is proud to once again partner with POWERGEN International to deliver a focused, engineer-driven educational experience designed to address the real-world challenges facing today’s power generation professionals.

Taking place during POWERGEN International 2026, the EGSA Engineering Workshop is a two-part, in-depth program tailored specifically for specifying engineers, consulting engineers, and power system professionals seeking practical guidance they can apply immediately in their work.

The EGSA Engineering Workshop will be held over two consecutive days at POWERGEN International 2026:

  • Part 1 – Wednesday, January 21
    Introduction to Microgrids and Integrated Solutions
    Data Center Design Considerations for Specifying Engineers
  • Part 2 – Thursday, January 22
    Transfer Switch Fundamentals for Specifying Engineers

This workshop is designed to go beyond high-level discussion and deliver actionable technical insight. Attendees will gain:

  • A foundational understanding of microgrids and integrated power solutions, including how they support resiliency, redundancy, and evolving load requirements
