UL 2200: Codes and Standards Sub-Committee

This Subcommittee of the Codes and Standards Committee represents EGSA and its members’ interests as they relate to the UL 2200 Standard for Stationary Engine Generator Assemblies, 3rd edition, published on Sept. 29, 2020, with an effective date of May 31, 2024.

The Sub-committee’s current and ongoing initiatives include:

Ensuring personnel and product safety and compliance with other pertinent codes and standards, thereby satisfying UL and Authorities Having Jurisdiction..
Remove ambiguity from UL 2200 by providing precise and concise descriptive text and illustrations, thereby better assuring consistent implementation and application across the industry.
Informing EGSA members about updates and revisions to the standard.
Providing the Association with a platform from which it may develop Recommended Practices for the proper application of the standard.
