Reggie Jackson
Former MLB Player, Author, Businessman

Reggie Jackson, nicknamed ‘Mr October’, is a titan of American baseball, widely recognized as one of the most prodigious power hitters in the history of the sport. His career spanned an impressive 21 seasons in Major League Baseball, during which he made a lasting impact with the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees.

Jackson's career is a testament to his unrelenting dedication and unwavering determination. Over the course of his career, he earned five World Series championships and was named the World Series MVP twice. He was also selected as an All-Star an impressive 14 times and won the prestigious American League MVP award in 1973. Jackson's unrivaled talent and numerous accomplishments cemented his place among the elite in baseball history and in 1993, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, a fitting tribute to his enduring legacy.

To this day, Jackson's expertise and knowledge are highly valued in the sport, as evidenced by his role at the Houston Astros as a special advisor to the owner, Jim Crane. His unwavering passion for the game and his lasting impact on the sport make him a true inspiration to generations of baseball players and fans alike.

After his retirement in 1987, Jackson has become more focused on his passion of preserving automotive history. The collection spans from the 1930s to the 1980s and even includes many exotic models like Ferrari. Jackson is one of America’s greatest classic and muscle car collectors. He is the owner of the popular Reggie Jackson Collection, which has attracted automotive enthusiasts from around the world.  The five-time World Series winner and Hall of Famer knows his automotive history and has a very impressive collection of vehicles on display, including Corvettes, Mustangs, and many Camaro models.

Reggie Jackson also started the The Mr. October Foundation and partnered with STEM 101 since 2014. They launched their first program in the Bronx in 2015 and have expanded to schools in Detroit, Oakland and St. Louis. The Foundation focuses on improving STEM education and workforce pipeline for underserved youth. Their goal is to inform and inspire kids in the areas of engineering, technology, manufacturing, medical and the trades while focusing on skill development and employability.

Robert Bryce
Author and Journalist

Robert Bryce is an author, podcaster, and film producer. He has been writing about energy, power, politics, and innovation for more than three decades. Bryce is the author of six books including most recently, A Question of Power: Electricity and the Wealth of Nations. He has given more than 450 invited or keynote lectures to groups ranging from the Marines Corps War College to the Sydney Institute as well as to a wide variety of associations, universities, and corporations. He is the host of the Power Hungry Podcast and the executive producer of the feature-length documentary: Juice: How Electricity Explains the World, which is available on numerous streaming platforms. Ryland Berg

Ryland Berg has been a Service Manager with Collicutt Energy for 2 Years.  Before entering the generator business, I had 20+ years as a heavy equipment technician.  Primarily based in California.  From there he continued his career as a Service Manager for Holt of California, a Caterpillar dealer.  Ryland has a passion for understanding the science behind how things work and looks forward to growing his expertise in the field of On-Site Power Generation.

Daniel Fischer
Regional Systems Architect, ASCO Power Technologies

Daniel Fischer started his career at ASCO in 2013 as an Application Engineer supporting the outside sales organization. Since then, he’s held a position as Senior Field Sales Engineer, and now serves as the Regional Systems Architect in the East. During his tenure at ASCO, he’s been responsible for managing major accounts as well as working as a trusted advisor to consulting engineers throughout the Eastern USA, working on complex mission critical designs. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and lives in Northern Virginia.

 

Harold Jarrett
Founder, OmniMetrix LLC

Harold Jarrett is the founder and CTO of OmniMetrix LLC, with 25 years of generator monitoring and control experience.  He has been active in EGSA for 15+ years and has taught the Communications class in the EGSA Rowley Advanced School for 6 years.  He formed OmniMetrix in 1998 specifically to serve the emergency onsite power channel.  For those decades, OmniMetrix has helped generator service organizations operate more efficiently by providing diagnostic data from tens of thousands of generators, and Harold has been a principal proponent of connecting those dealer channel assets into valuable Demand Response programs, as well as creating new value opportunities for the dealers and generator buyers. 

RJ Johansen
Sales Specialist, Gaines Oil Company

RJ Johansen is from Clayton, NC.  He works with Gaines Oil Company and has been supporting the On-Site Power Industry with fuel quality expertise. He has been working in the oil and gas industry for the last 13 years and has worked in areas such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and across the US.  He has managed projects for industrial pipelines in power plants, oil and gas refineries,  and implemented corrosion prevention.  By seeing the affects firsthand with fuel changes, RJ has continued a career in fuel analysis services, diesel fuel additives, fuel maintenance programs, emergency fueling, and quality fuel delivery.

RJ has assisted many emergency power service departments and bulk fuel facilities with managing ultra-low sulfur diesel and biodiesel.  He is well versed in fuel contamination, fuel additive chemistry, corrosion control for fuel in storage as well as fuel distribution logistics. RJ has also provided fuel quality solutions for utilities, diesel transportation, military, and heating oil industries.

Jeff Jonas
Senior Staff Engineer-Global Product Compliance, Generac Power Systems Inc.

Jeff Jonas is an electrical engineer with a concentration in electrical power. Currently working at Generac Power Systems, Inc. for 40+ years in various roles of product development, testing and currently product compliance. Serving on the technical committees for several codes & standards; ULC2200, UL2200A, UL2201, ULC6200, NFPA 37 and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)  as well as knowledgeable in several other standards. Chairperson for EGSA Codes and Standard committee as well as UL2200 Sub-committee.

Keith Page
Sr. Applications Engineer, Selkirk Corp (c/o Duravent Group)

Keith Page is a mechanical engineer and has worked for Selkirk Corp (subsidiary of Hart & Cooley & Duravent Group) for 22 years and is currently the vice-chair of EGSA’s Codes/Stds committee. He has spent most of his time in field applications & technical sales support, but has also had several years in product and engineering management.  He currently sits on technical committees for UL 103 & 1978 (venting and chimney standards) and NFPA 37 (representing EGSA) and NFPA 211. He also actively participates on two relevant ASHRAE technical committees.


Peter Rossomando
Product Manager, ASCO Power Technologies

Peter Rossomando started his career as an Applications Engineer at ASCO Power Technologies in 1985, with responsibility for Power Control Systems, Automatic Transfer Switches and Communications Products proposals. Pete’s roles have also included Sr. Applications Engineer and Project Manager for Power Control Systems, handling all aspects of customer projects. Pete has served as Director of PCS & ATS Applications Engineering and is currently Product Manager for ASCO Low and Medium Voltage Power Control Systems. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Fred Sargent has spent virtually all his working years in the electrical contracting industry. He is the former CEO of Pittsburgh-based Sargent Electric Company, where he first acquired his passion for the wide-ranging possibilities in service & maintenance in 1978. A decade later he co-founded the TEGG® network, which today is an international organization with a business-format franchise for predictive and preventive maintenance. He is founder and president of Great Service Forums,℠ a one-of-a-kind program, exclusively for union electrical contractors, geared to support the professional development of their service management staff and deliver service & maintenance business revenue opportunities to their companies in the widely expanding universe of the electrification of everything. Joshua Weaver

Josh Weaver, a Pittsburgh, PA native, grew up in the oil industry where he supported his family's small oil fields. He took his upbringing to Penn State, where he earned a mechanical engineering degree. Since college he has remained in the electrical power industry for over 10 years where he has worked for Mosebach Load banks, Mitsubishi Electric, and ASCO Power focusing on Load banking and Emergency Power switchgear. He is currently the Executive Vice President of RaVolt LLC, which holds 2 patents with 14 claims on the application microgrid systems and focuses on providing critical infrastructure to Residential and Commercial Microgrids, providing electrical security and independence to homeowners and critical commercial operations.
